“Lord help us to live in our healing…..
That once we’ve been freed, that we can look upon a new and brighter tomorrow understanding that we don’t have to look back to what we were but look ahead at all the possibilities of who God has called us to be.
That even when the enemy tries to remind us of our past failures, choices and decisions that we know deep within our hearts that we are truly free from the things the enemy tries to make us carry and take up once again.”
Once healing occurs, you can’t proceed as usual. There is an awareness of the blank slate that we’ve been given. So we make wiser choices. We proceed with caution. We make the decision to continuously block all the things that use to trip us up.
So many things……. we carry, in our hearts and minds. Those areas that are rarely looked into and checked on and asked about. Where things are allowed to fester and grow. Where change needs to be made yet only through having an awareness that something is actually in need of fixing….. restoring…. healing.
Love is a powerful tool to healing, and God loves us unconditionally.
So for every failure
Every misstep
Every relapse in judgment
…… every heartbreak, God has delivered to us the opportunity to be refreshed, repurposed and forever changed…..
Chose to take it and chose to be healed
Psalm 23:3 AMP
He refreshes and restores my life (my self); He leads me in the paths of righteousness [uprightness and right standing with Him–not for my earning it, but] for His name’s sake.
PHILIPPIANS 4:4-9 AMP
“Rejoice in the Lord always [delight, take pleasure in Him]; again I will say, rejoice! Let your gentle spirit [your graciousness, unselfishness, mercy, tolerance, and patience] be known to all people. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious or worried about anything, but in everything [every circumstance and situation] by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, continue to make your [specific] requests known to God. And the peace of God [that peace which reassures the heart, that peace] which transcends all understanding, [that peace which] stands guard over your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus [is yours]. Finally, believers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable and worthy of respect, whatever is right and confirmed by God’s word, whatever is pure and wholesome, whatever is lovely and brings peace, whatever is admirable and of good repute; if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think continually on these things [center your mind on them, and implant them in your heart]. The things which you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, practice these things [in daily life], and the God [who is the source] of peace and well-being will be with you.”
Amen
